Rio eyes chance to work with Chinalco
Adjust font size:

Rio Tinto Group said there may be opportunities to work with Aluminum Corp of China, also known as Chinalco, the Chinese metals company that became the co-owner of a nine-percent stake in Rio earlier this month.

"It is clear that there may be opportunities for us to work together," Rio Chairman Paul Skinner said yesterday in a company presentation in London. Skinner said Rio met the company after Chinalco, in conjunction with United States aluminum producer Alcoa Inc, bought the shares.
