Confucius Institute at San Francisco State University is one of the 'Top 30 Confucius Institutes in 2011' by China.org.cn

Focused on offering Chinese language and culture courses at all levels for students, and all enthusiastic individuals, it works as a bridge to connect people and promote Sino-US relations. In the Chinese learning, it has developed a series of successful programs, of which “Chinese Language and Modern China” is one of the most popular courses. In 2011, the number of the students enrolling has doubled. Aside from that, it has established two new Confucius classrooms and hosted cultural activities, symposia and festival celebrations, which attracted more than 10,000 people.

Confucius Institute at Angeles University Foundation is one of the 'Top 30 Confucius Institutes in 2011' by China.org.cn

Confucius Institute at Angeles University Foundation, Philippines [iccs.fjnu.edu.cn] 

Although established less than 3 years ago, the institute has achieved great things regarding the promotion of Chinese language and culture in Philippines. It has trained about 1,000 local Chinese language teachers and hosted the 1st Philippines-Chinese Economic Forum, in cooperation with the Philippines Chamber of Industry and Commerce, in 2010, which attracted over 300 guests, including Liu Jianchao, the Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines and Sec. Emmanuel Y. Angeles, Minister of Philippine Higher Education. In 2011, it launched more than 80 courses, attracting 2,500 registered students, 4 times that of 2010. Additionally, it has hosted over 30 activities, attracting 32,000 people, which was an increase of 50 percent on a year-to-year basis.
