Israel-Italy: Alenia Aermacchi M-346 Master [mil.huanqiu.com]


M-346 Master, produced by Alenia Aermacchi, is a military transonic trainer aircraft. The Israeli Ministry of Defense signed a contract with Italy's company Alenia Aermacchi to procure 30 M346 military training jets in July of 2012. The value of the package is set at US$1 billion, including the relevant teaching equipment, maintenance support and personnel training. The first delivery is expected to start mid-2014.
