India-US: Lockheed Martin C-130J "Super" Hercules [mil.huanqiu.com]


India accepted the prices of the United States' second batch of 6 C-130J "Super" Hercules planes for its special forces. In September of 2011, India had sent a Letter of Request to the US government to procure six additional C-130J aircrafts. The U.S. government subsequently submitted a Letter of Acceptance on April 10, 2012, to the Indian Defense Ministry for clearance. The deal is expected to cost around US$1 billion.
