India has ordered a fleet of 75 PC-7 Mk II turboprop aircrafts from Pilatus aircraft manufacturer of Switzerland in May of 2012. The deal is worth about SFr500 million (US$523 million). The deal includes an integrated ground-based training system and logistics support. Additionally, the company should establish an in-country depot level maintenance capabilities, transfer required technical to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. Furthermore, Pilatus has entered into agreement with the Indian government that 30 percent of the contract value will be used for investment in India.
