Henan posted 2.72 trillion yuan (US$421.13 billion) in its GDP in 2011, helping it to cling to fifth place again. Its GDP per capita rose from 24,446 yuan (US$3,611) in 2010 to 29,007 yuan (US$4,491) in 2011. In 2011, the province registered 18,195 yuan (US$2,817) in per capita disposable income for urban households and 6,604 yuan (US$1,023) in per capita net income for rural households, an increase of 8.4 percent and 12.7 percent in real terms, respectively. Its GDP in 2011 exceeded that of Norway in 2010 at US$414.46 billion.
