Zhejiang remained its 4th place this year with its GDP of 3.2 trillion yuan (US$495.45 billion), a 9 percent increase over 2010. Its GDP per capita rose from 51,711 yuan (US$7,639) in 2010 to 58,576 yuan (US$9,069) in 2011, ranking fifth in the country. In 2011, the province registered 30,971 yuan (US$4,795) in per capita disposable income for urban households and 13,071 yuan (US$2,024) in per capita net income for rural households, an increase of 13.2 percent and 15.6 percent, respectively. Its GDP in 2011 was close to that of Switzerland in 2010 at US$523.77 billion.
