Shandong continued to take the third spot in terms of GDP for the third consecutive year with 4.54 trillion yuan (US$702.92 billion), a 10.9 percent increase at comparable prices. Its GDP per capita rose from 41,106 yuan (US$6,072) to 47,139 yuan (US$7,298) in 2011, ranking the ninth in the country. In 2011, the province posted 22,792 yuan (US$3,529) in per capita disposable income for urban households and 8,342 yuan (US$1,292) in per capita net income for rural households, an increase of 14.3 percent and 19.3 percent respectively. Its GDP in 2011 exceeded that of Indonesia in 2010 at US$706.56 billion.
